Day 1: Arrival at Denpasar Airport - Mengwi [ 1:10 drive - 40Km ]
You are greeted at the airport upon your arrival in Bali. Beneath the sun of Indonesia, your holidays begin! After an hours drive to Mengwi , check into the hotel. You will enjoy the scenery, rice paddies and coconut groves on the first day . Overnight at hotel .

2nd day Mengwi and surroundings
Early in the morning, explore the Balinese culture. After a visit to the local market continue your walk in the middle of rice fields. You will learn about cropping and irrigation. Eventually you will reach a small village where you will meet the locals and the village chief. Your hosts will be happy to prepare lunch by introducing you to local cooking classes. In the afternoon, make a stop at the village school that will be preparing offerings for the ceremony at the end of the day : learn bamboo weaving and traditional weaving! Ceremony in the evening and return to the hotel . Overnight at hotel .

Day 3: Mengwi - Munduk - Jatiluwih - Bedugul - Lake Bratan , Buyan , Tamblingan [1H road - 50 km]
In the morning, go through the Balinese countryside to the temple of Batukaru, lost in the forest. Then go in the direction of Jatiluwih to visit its amazing rice fields. In the afternoon, go back to visit Lake Bratan and the Ulun Danu temple dedicated to the goddess of water. Tour around the market of Bedugul. Follow the volcanic lakes Buyan and Tamblingan up to Munduk. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 4: Munduk - Lovina via Banjar [ 1:10 drive - 30 Km]
After breakfast , take the road towards Lovina. Along the way, visit the monastery of Brahma Vihara Arama, Bali’s only Buddhist monastery. Not far from Lovina beach, you will find the hot springs of Banjar : three sacred pools filled with water from the volcanic rocks with high sulfur content. Benefit from a mythical and invigorating bath in the middle of greenery. Overnight at hotel .

Day 5: Lovina - Mount Batur via Sangsit and Kubutambahan [ 2H road - 80 km]
At dawn , make a boat trip to watch dolphins in the bay. Take along your beach towel, sunscreen and swimsuit and enjoy the sea or the pool of your hotel. In the late morning, hit the road for a few cultural visits : first stop at Sangsit to discover the surprising architectural style of the temple Beji , then stop at Kubutambahan to observe the reliefs of the temple of Meduwe Karang . Then take the winding road of Mount Batur . Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : Mount Batur - Amed via Besakih [ 2:15 drive - 80Km ]
Early in the morning, conquer Mount Batur to watch the beautiful sunrise from the summit of over 1700 meters. Walk around the crater at the center of which lies the Lake Batur . Enjoy a magnificent view of the other volcanoes in Bali before returning to your hotel. Go to Besakih to visit the famous "mother temple" of Bali. Follow the winding road between Mount Agung and Mount Seraya to reach Amed. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Amed
Free day in the city and surrounding areas . Your driver is on leave , so you can enjoy some diving. Explore the wreck of the Liberty in Tulamben or take a boat ride with the fishermen. Overnight at hotel .

Day 8 : Amed - Sidemen via Abang - Tirthagangga - Tenganan [ 2H road - 70Km ]
Leave the sea to return to land. Make your first stop at Abang, which offers a magnificent view of rice fields, then Tirthagangga to visit the royal palace. Continue your journey to the animist village of Tenganan , known for its community system and its very special weaves called grinsin . Your road ends in Sidemen , one of the most beautiful stages of your journey. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 : Sidemen - Ubud via Klunkung , Kamasan , Goa Lawah and Kusamba [ 1H30H road - 50Km ]
In the morning, visit Klungkung , also known as the Semarapura . Visit the courthouse and the floating pavilion of the ancient royal capital . Discover the ruins of the temple of Gelgel before making a stop in the village of painters of Kamasan . Continue your journey to Goa Lawah and discover the caves that are home to thousands of bats. Head to Kusamba and visit the picturesque salt marshes of the region. At the end of the day you will reach Ubud. Overnight at hotel .

Day 10 : Ubud - Trip to Goa Gajah , Tampaksiring , Mount Batur , Bangli and [ 2:00 - 80 Km]
In the morning, take a trip to Goa Gajah also nicknamed " The basement of the elephant" to visit the temple built in the 9th century. Go to the site of Gunung Kawi and visit a temple dedicated to King Anak Wungsu . Discover the sacred sources of Tampaksiring before hitting the road heading north to the caldera of the volcano Batur. In the afternoon , go back to Bangli, which houses the temple of Pura Kehen, highly revered by all Balinese. Back to Ubud in the evening. Overnight at hotel .

Day 11 : Ubud - Jimbaran / Kuta / Seminyak / Benoa / Sanur [ 1:30 drive - 55 Km]
Go in the morning to the small village of Sukawati to visit the popular market. Balinese come here to negotiate textiles, basketry , paintings , fruit and vegetables in a friendly atmosphere. Opportunity to visit the park of Taman Burung for rare birds and the famous Komodo dragons ! Take the road to reach the seaside. Visit the mysterious temple of Tanah Lot, perched on a black rock . Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12 : Excursion Jimbaran/Kuta/Seminyak/Sanur/Benoa- on the Bukit peninsula [1H road - 40 km]
This day is dedicated to the discovery of the Bukit peninsula and the temple of Pura Luhur Uluwatu . The site offers stunning views, perched atop a cliff overlooking the turquoise sea below. You can enjoy the beautiful beach of Balangan to sip a coconut or have lunch watching the surfers. In the evening , you will witness a show of Kecak (pronounced " Ketchak ). This is a show of traditional Balinese dance accompanied by singing " chak -a- chak -a- chak ’. Back in Jimbaran, you will dine at the water’s edge , while the sun sets on the horizon.

Day 13: Jimbaran / Kuta / Seminyak / Sanur / Benoa
A free day when you can just enjoy the beach or available seaside activities: surfing, kite surfing , wake boarding , wind surfing, horseback riding etc. Your driver is not available today. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Jimbaran / Kuta / Seminyak / Sanur / Benoa
You’re always on tour in this relaxing and beautiful area. Enjoy some activities that you have not had the time to do. Overnight at hotel .

Day 15: Jimbaran / Kuta / Seminyak / Sanur / Benoa - Rantepao via Denpasar - Makassar and Pare -Pare [ 1:20 flight and 8H drive - 320km ]
Transfer to Denpasar airport in the morning and fly to Ujung Pandang. You are welcomed to Ujung Padang by your guide and the driver will escort you to Rantepao , the capital of the country Toraja . The road is long , but the scenery is beautiful ! The road winds through the mountains, unearthing beautiful forests, steep valleys , and houses on stilts. Lunch en route in Pare -Pare . Accommodation, dinner and overnight at the hotel .

Day 16 : Rantepao - Excursion town Toraja , Lemo, Suaya , Kambira , Londa , Kesu Kesu - [ 2H road - 70Km ]
A mystical day. You will discover the Toraja. Visit the most typical villages of the Toraja houses with roofs shaped like a boat. First visit Lemo, known for its tomb cliffs where you will greet the effigies of the deceased. Then you discover Suaya and the royal tomb of the 7th king and Kambira and a tree cemetery for children. After lunch, visit the cliff of Londa, from which statuettes have been excavated, representing the dead in the village. Kete - Kesu is a village with the purest tradition. Back to Rantepao , dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 17 : Rantepao - Sangalla [ walking tour ]
After breakfast , you leave for a day of quiet walks in the countryside to explore the lesser known Toraja villages. Enjoy the scenery of bamboo forests and rice terraces overlooking the valley. The walk takes three to five hours. Have lunch on the way. In the evening, taste the local cuisine, including dishes in bamboo or wrapped in banana leaves. Overnight at hotel .

Day 18 : Sangalla - Rantepao via Sa’dan , Bori , arrowroot [1H road - 40Km ]
In the morning, drive to a traditional village specialized in sophisticated weaving. You will discover the megaliths and tombs carved in towering granite blocks in Bori. After lunch, visit the funeral arrowroot . Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Rantepao .

Day 19 : Rantepao - Jimbaran / Kuta / Seminyak / Sanur / Benoa via Pare - Pare, Ujung Padang , Denpasar [ 8H drive - 320km and 1:20 flight ]
Take the southern route just after breakfast. Stop in Pare -Pare for lunch then continue to the airport in Ujung Padang. Flight to Denpasar. Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel and overnight .

Day 20 Jimbaran / Kuta / Seminyak / Sanur / Benoa - Denpasar Airport [ 30min drive - 20 Km]
Transfer to Denpasar Airport according to your scheduled international flight. If you have more time , you can walk along the famous Bukit peninsula.
