Your journey begins in the heart of the rice fields in Sidemen, Bali. You will leave the Island of the Gods to travel to Yogyakarta (or Jogjakarta), on the island of Java. This mysterious city is a treasure trove of many surprises.
You will visit the temple of Borobudur, the largest Buddhist temple in the world before you go to Mount Bromo’s caldera known for its spectacular volcanic moonscape. You will then go to Kawah Ijen, another mythical volcano of Indonesia.
Back in Bali, you can enjoy the island of the gods amongst the beaches and the beautiful rice fields of Ubud, not far from the Munduk jungle.

Day 1: Arrival at the airport in Denpasar - Sidemen [1:30 drive - 60Km ]
Reception at the airport by your driver. You have arrived in Bali, the Island of Gods! The sea air and sun are waiting for you: the holidays begin! You will stay in Sidemen, a charming little village in the heart of rice fields, corn plantations, peppers and cloves. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Sidemen - Excursion to Mount Batur [ 5H drive - 110km ]
Early in the morning , you take the road to Mount Batur. Enjoy leisurely hiking to discover the flora and fauna of one of the most beautiful areas of Bali. The ascent is gentle to the top where you will discover Lake Batur beautifully fitted between the two neighboring volcanoes. On your descent from Sidemen, stop at Basakih at the foot of Mount Agung where you will visit the largest temple on the island. Back to Sidemen. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Sidemen - Yogyakarta Prambanan and via Kota Gede [ 1:30 drive and 1H and 1H flight route ]
In the morning you are transferred to the Denpasar airport where you will fly to Yogyakarta. You are greeted at the airport of Yogyakarta by your driver who will take you directly to the Prambanan temple for your first visit to the island of Java. Discover the exceptional site of Prambanan contained in the UNESCO World Heritage since 1991. Visit Kota Gede, the artisan district located in the heart of Yogyakarta. Transfer to your hotel for a free late afternoon. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Yogyakarta - Borobudur Tour and Yogyakarta City [ 2H road - 90 km]
Before sunrise at the peak of Suroloyo you will travel to a hill near Borobudur. As the sky clears and the fog dissipates, you will discover the surrounding jungle from which the two volcanoes Merapi and Merbabu arise. You descend on foot, accompanied by your guide. On the way you stop at the Buddhist temple of Borobudur before heading back to Yogyakarta. In the late afternoon , you will visit the ancient city of Yogyakarta. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Yogyakarta - Bromo volcano via Jombang [ 5H train - 3:30 drive - 140Km ]
In the morning , you take the train to Jombang . The railway line cuts through magnificent landscapes. Upon reaching Jombang, a driver will take you to the foot of Mount Bromo , an active volcano which rises to 2300m . Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Volcano Bromo - Kawa Ijen [ 5:30 drive - 230Km ]
After a very early wake up you will go in the direction of the sea of sand. Cross the legendary circus pony to reach the base of Mount Bromo . Climb on foot to the crater. The desolate and lunar landscapes are stunningly beautiful . Descend and enjoy a well deserved breakfast before hitting the road for Kawa Ijen . Check in to the hotel and lights out after dinner because the ascent of the volcano awaits you tomorrow! Overnight at hotel .
Day 7: Kawah Ijen - Pemuteran [ 1:30 drive - 80 km - Ferry ]
Get up at dawn to climb up Mount Ijen, sometimes called Kawah Ijen . Get to the top when the first rays of sun appear, revealing breathtaking landscapes . Return to your hotel and head towards Banyuwangi where a ferry is waiting to take you to Bali. Thereafter, take the road to Pemuteran . Free afternoon and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 :: Pemuteran - Excursion to the island of Menjangan
This day is an opportunity for a sea trip to the island of Menjangan , the seabed and the unparalleled protected coral reefs! In the afternoon, head to the Balinese coast for a hike in the park of Bali Barat . Walk in particularly beautiful and lush nature. Back to Pemuteran and overnight at the hotel .
Day J : Pemuteran - Munduk via Lakes Buyan and Tamblingan [ 2:30 drive - 60 Km]
In order to discover the rural part of Bali, leave the coast to venture into the countryside. In the village of Munduk , which means " between plains and mountains ", explore the surrounding areas. Walk around Lake Buyan and visit the temple of Gubug Tamblingan. Overnight at hotel .
Day 10: Munduk - Ubud via Lake Bratan - Jatiluwih - Batukaru [ 3H road - 60 km]
In the morning, take the road that runs along the ridges of Tamblingan and Buyan Lake to reach the lake Bratan. First, visit the Ulun Danu temple dedicated to the goddess of water . Continue your trip through the rice paddies of Jatiluwih , a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These rice fields are a natural amphitheater which give a very good overview of the Balinese irrigation system. Visit the Wongaya Gede village and the temple Batukaru , literally meaning "coconut" in reference to Mount Batukaru on which it was erected. The road continues through the Balinese countryside to Ubud, Bali’s artistic center. Overnight at hotel .
Day 11: Ubud - Trip to Goa Gajah , Tampaksiring , Mount Batur , Bangli and [ 2:00 - 80 Km]
After breakfast, head towards Bedulu to visit the religious site of Goa Gajah also nicknamed " The cellar of the elephant ." Then go through the rice terraces of Tegalalang to reach the site of Gunung Kawi. Head up north to the caldera of the Batur volcano. In the afternoon, return to Bangli and visit the temple of Pura Kehen, highly revered by all Balinese. Back to Ubud. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Ubud - Denpasar Airport [ 1:45 drive - 45Km ]
Transfer to Denpasar Airport according to the schedule of your international flight. End of our services.
