This journey through Bali and Komodo in Flores is an intense discovery of the landscape and culture of the islands.
You will arrive in Bali and visit the charming villages, amazing temples, rice paddies and sublime beaches that comprise the beauty of this island. Your program continues with a boat trip to Rinca Island, home of the mythical and fascinating Komodo dragons! You are accompanied by a ranger on the island who teaches you all about these intriguing animals. You then return to your boat for Komodo National Park where you will watch the lizards during a morning hike.
You continue your journey by exploring the island of Flores and its multitude of fabulous natural sites.
Your stay ends in Bali where you can choose to explore the area or relax on the beautiful beaches in a calm and soothing atmosphere.

Day 1: Arrival at Denpasar Airport - Mengwi [ 1:10 min drive - 40 Km]
Reception at the airport by your driver. You are now on the island of Gods , your vacation starts! After an hour’s drive you will reach Mengwi, where you will check into the hotel. Relaxation in the heart of Bali in the middle of rice fields and coconut trees. Overnight at hotel .
Day 2: Mengwi - Excursion " Discovering the Balinese culture " in the vicinity of Mengwi
Start early in the morning. You can go shopping in the market. Go for a walk through the rice fields. Receive an introduction to the workings of a rice field. Eventually you will reach a small village to meet the chief and his people, who are happy to prepare lunch for you along with giving you some cooking classes. In the afternoon , make a stop at the village school . Help prepare offerings for the ceremony end of the day: this is the time of initiation of bamboo weaving and traditional weaving. Ceremony in the evening and return to the hotel . Overnight at hotel .
Day 3 : Mengwi - Munduk via Temple Batukaru - Jatiluwih - Bedugul - Lake Bratan , Buyan , Tamblingan [1H road - 50 km]
In the morning, your road passes through the Balinese countryside and allows you to observe the daily life of the villages. Arrive at the Batukaru temple buried in the forest, then go on to visit its amazing Jatiluwih rice fields. In the afternoon, go back to Lake Bratan, visit Bedugul market and Ulun Danu temple, which is dedicated to the Goddess of Water. You head to the Buyan and Tamblingan volcanic lakes, then take the winding roads to finally reach the village of Munduk, which means " between plain and mountain." Overnight at the hotel.
Munduk is a charming village extending from the top of the mountain to the valley. Wedged between the clouds and the Three Lakes region, it offers breathtaking views from the road.
Tips: At Munduk, explore the jungle in search of waterfalls and Panahbarak Langam . Keep your sweaters handy , it can get very cold at night due to the altitude .
Day 4 Munduk - Ubud via Busung Biu - Pupuan - Sangeh - Tanah Lot [ 4H - 150 Km]
Start your day on a beautiful small road surrounded on both sides by rice paddies . Reach Pupuan , famous for its rice granaries. Continue your trip by taking the southern route. Visit the famous Tanah Lot temple, perched on a rock cliff with the sea waves crashing below. At the end of the day, return to Ubud through Sangeh and Monkey Forest. Overnight at hotel .
Ubud offers a multitude of activities and tours in the surrounding area. We suggest a walk in the Sacred Monkey forest, a visit to Gunung Kawi Temple and rice terraces of Tegalalang . You can also visit two landmark museums in the city, the Blanco Renaissance Museum and Neka Museum to soak up some artistic history and admire some masterpieces. The climate of Ubud is very pleasant with temperatures that can be chilly in the evening. In addition, cultural and artistic richness makes it a special place to enjoy various activities in the field of crafts, dance, music, and local cuisine. Do not hesitate to go for a stroll in the very colorful market. From this city, most attractions of the island are easily accessible. We recommend that you try some sport activities such as rafting, bike riding , walking or tree climbing if you have time .
Day 5: Ubud - Sidemen via Goa Gajah - Gunung Kawi - Tampaksiring - Mount Batur - Bangli [ 3H drive - 120 Km]
A morning drive to the site of Bedulu Goa Gajah also known as " the cave of the elephant ", a temple built in the 9th century. Discover the picturesque caves and sculptures. Go to the site of Gunung Kawi near Tampaksiring , a temple dedicated to King Anak Wungsu . You will also discover the sacred sources of Tampaksiring . Head up north to the caldera of the Batur volcano. In the afternoon, reach Sidemen via Bangli and Pura Kehen temple sanctuary in the higher terraces of Bali . Overnight at hotel .
Sidemen is undoubtedly a great step in your Balinese journey. Located at the foot of Mount Agung , it offers a breathtaking panorama of paddy fields and is the ideal destination to discover the Balinese countryside.
Day 6: Sidemen - Excursion to Tenganan Village and Tirtagangga [ 2:30 drive - 95 Km]
In the morning, head towards the animist village of Tenganan community whose system is based on the division of property. You then head to Tirtagangga to see its sacred sources, the Water Palace and the surrounding rice terraces. Back to Sidemen. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Sidemen - Jimbaran / Kuta / Seminyak / Sanur / Benoa via Klunkung , Goa Lawah , Kamasan and Kusamba [ 2H road - 70 km ]
Reach the sea and make your first stop in Klungkung , the former royal capital also known as the Semarapura . Visit the courthouse , the floating roof and the temple ruins of Gelgel , then make a break in the village of painters of Kamasan. Stop at Goa Lawah , known as the cave of bats since it is home to thousands of these nocturnal creatures. Take the road towards the Kusamba fishing village with typical salt marshes. Finally, head to one of the resorts of the south depending on your accommodation. Overnight at hotel .
Jimbaran - the North West of the peninsula of Bukit, Jimbaran offers a wide sandy beach washed by calm waves. The water is shallow and you can swim safely. Lovers of fish and seafood can sit at sunset at a table on the beach waterfront and enjoy grilled fish on a barbecued coconut in candlelight . < BR >
Kuta - A haven for surfers and the kingdom of Australians. Surfing, dancing and partying are the things to do here.
Seminyak - Bali’s VIP area . You will find small chic and trendy restaurants, art galleries, and attractive clothing stores.
Sanur - A beautiful beach appreciated by bathers because it is protected from the waves. Despite a coast lined with hotels, it is a relaxing place and popular with travelers.

Day 8: Jimbaran / Kuta / Seminyak / Sanur / Benoa - Rinca Island via Denpasar - Labuan Bajo [ car + plane + boat ]
Transfer to Denpasar airport and take the flight to Labuan Bajo, Flores. A driver will receive you at the airport in Labuan Bajo. Transfer to the port and hop on to a local boat en route to the island of Rinca , the famous island of Komodo dragons ! It takes about 2 hours to reach . This is the perfect time to enjoy your lunch on board. You land on the island of Rinca for a 2 hour trek accompanied by a park ranger. Observe the Komodo dragons in their natural habitat in the middle of a savannah dotted with palm trees. Head back to your boat. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 9: Rinca - Labuan Bajo via Komodo - Pink [ boat + car ]
At dawn , browse through the island of Komodo . If you embark upon a morning walk, bee alert, as the monitor lizards roam around. You can safely observe and see their nests and prey. You will then sail to Pink Beach , one of the seven pink beaches of the world, which gets its color from a mixture of white sand and red sand. After a swim, take your boat to reach Labuan Bajo . Transfer to your accommodation and overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Labuan Bajo - Ruteng via Gua Batu Cermin - Cancar - Ruteng Pu’u [ 4:30 drive - 150 Km]
Morning visit to Gua Batu Cermin , literally meaning " mirror cave ." Gua Batu Cermin is a massive set of limestone caves. You will discover turtle fossils , stalactites and stalagmites, as well as monkeys and bats. After lunch, you go to Cancar to admire the amazing rice shaped cobweb. The day continues to Ruteng Pu’u , a traditional village of ethnic Manggaraian. The circular houses and the local population make it utterly charming . Overnight at hotel .
Day 11: Ruteng - Bajawa via Rana meze - Aimere
Visit the local market of Ruteng before hitting the road for Bajawa . Stop at the peaceful lake of Rana Meze completely surrounded by forest. On your second stop , taste palm wine and learn its secrets. Arrive in Bajawa . Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 : Bajawa - Moni via Wawo Muda - Bena - Boawae - Wolotopo
Morning departure to visit the lakes of Wawo Muda. These lakes appeared after an eruption in 2001. There are five in the rainy season and a little less in the dry season . Descend to the megalithic Bena village with traditional houses and unique culture. This village is 1200 years old and its people have retained many traditions. Meet the traditional communities and villages of Boawae Wolotopo . Arrive late afternoon in Moni . Overnight at hotel .
Day 13: Moni - Kelimutu via Maumere - Jopu - Sikka
In the night, start for one of the most spectacular and mysterious sites in Indonesia - Kelimutu and its three lakes . Be dazzled by its varied and changing colors at sunrise ! Return to hotel for breakfast . Visit the market of Moni and then head to the traditional village of Jopu before visiting Sikka village that is famous for weaving handicrafts. Reach Maumere in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel .
Day 14: Maumere - Jimbaran / Kuta / Seminyak / Sanur / Denpasar via Beno [ 2H flight and 45min drive - 20Km ]
The fishing village of Wuring opens its doors this morning before you get transferred to the airport of Frans Seda for your flight to Denpasar (Bali). Reception at the airport by your driver and transfer to one your resort. Overnight at hotel .
Day 15 : Jimbaran / Kuta / Seminyak / Sanur / Benoa - Denpasar Airport [ 30min drive - 20 Km]
Transfer to Denpasar Airport according to your scheduled international flight. If you have more time, you can explore the Bukit peninsula, starting with the Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple . The site is exceptional, surrounded by forest and perched high on a cliff while the the turquoise sea crashes below. However, keep your distance from the monkeys that have a tendency to rob passers by! Take a break on the beautiful Balangan Beach to enjoy a coconut or have lunch, while watching the dance of the surfers on the waves. End of our services.
