  • Take the trip to Ladakh, a focused on well-being for body and mind. This route offers a balance between yoga and trekking. Discover this unique region of the Himalayas, while following an introduction to yoga in a favorable environment.

    During these 11 days of travel to Ladakh, you spend most of your time to practice yoga. You are guided by Charlene Simon *, adept and yoga teacher, who lives in India since 2007. Her smile and expertise will guide you through a real spiritual experience. Attend daily classes, where you practice stretching, meditation and discover multidimensional music. The courses are of course adapted to your level and your expectations, so that you can enjoy this wellbeing trip.

    A 5 days easy trek allows you to discover Ladakh. Along the Silk Road, you walk through the Ladakhi villages, meet local people, visit the Buddhist monasteries, and admire the lunar landscape. During these excursions, you also enjoy a session of rafting on the Indus River.

    Your main accommodation will be in Ecocamp NomadsLand. In this quiet and serene place you can enjoy your yoga class. Also enjoy the hospitality of its staff and the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. In addition to yoga, Charlene offers relaxation and therapeutic massages, so you fully enjoy your stay.

    *Of French origin, Charlene Simon lives in India since 2007. Hatha Yoga, kallaripayatu (martial art of Kerala), meditation, energy medicine or acupressure, her courses are numerous and make her a trusted professional. During yoga, she teaches you the different postures, stretching techniques and breathing or meditation voice.

D1 : Delhi – Leh (Tsemarang NomadsLand Camp)
Morning flight to Leh and transfer to Ecocamp NomadsLand. In the afternoon, rest and the first session of Yoga.
Course Content: yoga stretches, breathing exercises and refocusing. Possibility of Thai message (max. 2 persons).

D2 : Leh (visit of the Indus Valley east side)
In the morning yoga class and breakfast. Visit Leh and eastern part of the Indus Valley and the monasteries of Shey, Hemis and Tikse. Possibility of Thai massage (max. 1 person);

In the afternoon, lunch and visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp and Choklamsar Spituk monastery. Discovery of Amchi, return to camp for a yoga class, then dinner at the Prince Jigmet and overnight Ecocamp.
Course Content: assessing the level of students.

D3 : Leh – Sabu – Leh (3500m)
In the morning yoga class and departure for Sabu (4495m) from where one has a wonderful view of the Stok Kangri. Picnic near the village and visit the monastery. In the evening yoga classes. Night at the Ecocamp. Course Content: stretching, breathing exercises and focus through listening to multidimensional music.

D4 : Rafting Leh – Spituk – Basgo (Rafting, 3500m)
In the morning yoga classes then drive to Spituk, from where we start rafting on the river Indus till Basgo (3 hours rafting). In the afternoon, stroll through the traditional village of Basgo. Yoga and night in camp on the river (3500m).

D5 : Trek Basgo - Likir – Yangtang (route + trek, 3550m)
In the morning yoga classes and road to the monastery of Likir. Visit the monastery and start trekking. Climb to the Col Pobe (3600m). Picnic and then descent to the village of Sumdo. New climbing to the pass Charatse La (3650m) before descending to the village of Yangtang. Yoga classes and camp near the village.

D6 : Trek Yangtang
In the morning yoga classes. Then, several possibilities:

- Trek to the monastery of Rizong

- Visit to a nunnery located 30min walk

- Walk up to the pastures of Ulle minutes to 1 hour

- Rest and possibly assisting in the preparation of meals
In the evening yoga classes. Overnight in camp.

D7 : Trek Yangtang – Tsermangchan – Hemis Skupachan (3700m)
In the morning yoga class and then climb to the Col Tsermangchan La (3750m). Picnic, and down to the beautiful village of Hemis Skupachan (3700m). Visit the village and school. Yoga and night in camp.

D8 : Trek Hemis – Temisgam (3600m)
In the morning yoga classes and slow ascent to the Col Mebtak La (3720m). Picnic and descent to the valley’s agricultural Dangdong Tokpo and the village of Temisgam. Visit the village, yoga classes and night in camp.

D9 : Trek Temisgam – Leh (3500m)
In the morning yoga class and drive to Leh (Jeep). En route, lunch and visit the monastery of Alchi and then stay in the Ecocamp NomadsLand. Yoga and night at camp.

D10 : Leh (3500m)
In the morning yoga class, breakfast and sightseeing in Old Leh. Lunch and free afternoon. Return to camp for the yoga class, then dinner and overnight at Ecocamp. Possibilities of Thai massage (max. 2 persons)

D11 : Leh – Delhi
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Welcome at airport and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, visit to Delhi and free time. Overnight at hotel.
