Tibet evokes the spiritual and historical world, both the dark and bright images of Buddhism. A trip to Tibet is an elevation towards the mountains, a spiritual ascension beyond the earthly bounds.

From Kathmandu you will fly over the majestic Himalayas and land at Lhasa, the capital of the Kingdom of Tibet in the seventh century and current capital of the region of Tibet under Chinese administration. You will enter the heart of Tibetan culture using the famous Road of Friendship that leads you to Gyantse Darchen in a gorgeous mountain setting.

At the foot of the sacred mountain Kailash, you will participate in the biggest festival of Tibetan Buddhism: The Saga Dawa. This festival will be the highlight of your trip and will offer you unparalleled immersion in the Buddhist culture.

Then you will go hiking for three days in the area marked by very strong spirituality and follow the footsteps of pilgrims to many monasteries. You will get progressively closer to the Nepalese border and finish your trip in the mythical capital of Nepal: Kathmandu.
