Day 1

First steps in Asia!
Your Southeast Asia tour starts now! You are greeted at Yangon Airport by your personal driver who will take you to your hotel where you can settle down. Afterwards, meet your Travel Expert who will provide you with the latest information for a smooth trip in Asia. After freshening up, you will discover the Burmese capital without further delay. Head to the ancient Sule Pagoda and walk through the old colonial district admiring its fascinating architecture at every corner. Then, continue to the famous Bokyoke Market. In the late afternoon, do not miss the chance to admire the breathtaking Shwedagon Pagoda at sunset, a highlight of your trip.
Day 2

The mesmerising temples of Bagan
This morning, you take a short domestic flight to Bagan, one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in Asia and a highlight of your Southeast Asia tour. Your guide and private driver are there to welcome you and bring you on a visit to the most important monuments of Bagan. You start with the Dhammazedi Temple where you can admire the thousands of stupas and pagodas scattered as far as the eye can see throughout the plains of Bagan. Then you visit Ananda Temple, Shwezigon Pagoda and Sulamani Temple. At the end of the day, climb to the top of one of the temples to catch a beautiful sunset over the plains of Bagan.
Day 3

Hot air balloon ride and traditional market
Wake up at dawn to fly over the Bagan Plains aboard a hot air balloon. The serenity and light that surround this site at sunrise emit a special magic that offers you one of the most romantic moments of your Southeast Asia tour. After a good breakfast at your hotel, you visit the Manuha Temple located in Myinkaba village, home to many shops selling Burmese lacquerware, a handicraft which is known throughout the world. You will then visit the local market of Nyaung U and take a quiet stroll through colorful stalls, loaded with fruits and vegetables from the region.
Day 4

The wonderful world of the Inthas fishermen
Today you take a domestic flight to Inle Lake, a vast expanse of clear water in the heart of the Shan Mountains. On the way, you visit a workshop of Shan paper umbrellas, one of the many crafts of the region. You then embark aboard a traditional canoe and navigate through the stilt villages, floating gardens and Inthas fishermen, the ethnic group that inhabit the lake region. With their unique rowing technique - using one leg - these fishermen form a mesmerising ballet on the water. You will surely be amazed by the landscape and the peaceful atmosphere. Return to your hotel on the shores of the lake.
Day 5

Indein complex
This morning, you set out for the Indein complex, a village that is home to a set of eroded stupas overgrown with thick vegetation. This village is known for its lotus flower fabric factories. You cruise along a peaceful canal adjacent to the lake where you can observe the scenes of everyday life: women doing their laundry and children going to school. Then, an incredible lunch awaits you on the only floating restaurant on the lake. The chef on board cooks a traditional Shan menu made from seasonal produce that you enjoy in the midst of an unforgettable setting.
Day 6

Tour of Mandalay
Before leaving this corner of paradise, hop aboard your canoe for a last trip on the lake. You then fly to Mandalay, the city of Burmese artisans and the jade trade. After leaving your belongings at the hotel, you set out for a cruise on the Irrawaddy River towards Mingun where you have the chance to visit a gigantic brick temple never completed due to numerous earthquakes. You wander through the village before returning to Mandalay to visit the Royal Palace.

Today, you set off to explore the ancient royal capitals. Your first visit is to Ava, the former royal capital of several successive dynasties. Accessible by crossing a small river on a local boat, you will discover the site by horse-drawn carriage. Many beautiful vestiges are hidden in this stunning site, almost giving you the feeling that time has stopped here. Then, continue to Sagaing Hill, a hill covered with pagodas, where you take the time to learn about the monks' life in a monastery. In Amarapura, you visit a factory making longyis, the traditional Burmese clothing, before taking a sunset stroll on U Bein Bridge, the longest teak bridge in the world.

Day 8

Hello Thailand!
This morning, you leave Burma and fly to Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand. Upon arrival, your driver will welcome you and take you to your hotel. Once settled, do not waste time - set out to discover this vibrant city full of cultural treasures. Stroll through the alleys of the old town and visit the numerous temples, such as Wat Phra Singh. At the end of the day, climb aboard a songtaew, a traditional “bus” to ascend to the temple of Doi Suthep and enjoy a beautiful panorama of the city. In the evening, do not miss the night markets where many street food stalls offer the best local specialties.

Day 9

Meet the Asian elephants
This morning, head to the Elephant Nature Park, an elephant rescue and rehabilitation centre. Meet with the team and veterinarians who are raising awareness about issues affecting Southeast Asian elephants and how the center is caring for them. You get a chance to feed the elephants and, after a lunch in the park, you go down to the edge of the river to bathe them - take the opportunity to jump in the water and cool down! Help the staff rub these adorable giants while having fun splashing them. The experience is unique, for both adults and children. Return to Chiang Mai in the afternoon.

Day 10

The capital of Thailand
Before taking your flight to Bangkok, why not go shopping in the markets and shops of Chiang Mai to look for souvenirs to bring home to your loved ones? Once at the airport of Bangkok, your driver will greet you and bring you to your hotel. Enjoy this day soaking up the unique atmosphere of the Damnoen Saduak floating market and exploring the Grand Palace.
