Traveling through Shekhawati on a horseback is a wonderful way to discover this beautiful region of northern India. It is a mix between cultural discoveries, beautiful scenery, and lots of equestrian fun.

Before the adventure really begins, you will reach the small village of Dundlod to meet your beautiful Marwari horses that are strong-willed, energetic and courageous. On horseback, you will cross the villages of Ajitgarh, Mandawa and Mehensar where you will visit traditional and famous havelis (houses) of Shekhawati. Every day you can cross between 20-30 kms of perfect sandy trail on horseback.

Your stay continues with a visit to Jaipur where you will visit the impressive Amber Fort. Feel free to lose yourself in the streets of the so-called "Pink City" in search of fabric or typical Rajasthani jewelry.

Finally, your journey ends on a majestic note with a visit to the legendary Taj Mahal in Agra.

Day 1

Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Meet your travel advisor. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

6h - 230km

In the morning, leave for Fort Dundlod in the heart of Shekhawati . A few kilometers from the village of Dundlod, this fort built in 1750 is emblematic of Rajput and Mughal influences. Night at the fort.

Day 3

It's your first day on horseback. You meet your horses and go for a walk around the fort to visit villages and temples. In the evening, attend a show staged by folk dancers and musicians. Night at the fort.

Day 4

Full day excursion during which, you will visit the large village of Ajigarh that has some of the finest frescoes in Shekhawati. Along the way, you will pass through some villages and farmland. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5

Leave Churi Ajitgarh and reassemble on the saddle towards Mandawa (abouTag 25km). The landscape is barren, dotted with khejri trees. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6

From Mandawa, ride about twenty kilometers towards Mehansar. The landscape varies between sand dunes, cultivated fields and small villages. Walk into the Mehansar fort. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7

In the morning, horse ride to Alsisar for your last day of hiking. The beautiful sand dunes here give you the feeling of crossing the desert as a nomad. Arrive at the large village of Alsisar and visit the fort on your mounts. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8

5h - 200km

After breakfast, go by car in the direction of Jaipur known as the " Pink City " of Rajasthan. Enjoy a free afternoon to visit and relax. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9

In the morning, visit the famous Amber Fort. Return to Jaipur after breakfast to walk around the old pink city and randomly shaded city streets. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10

5h - 230km

In the morning, head towards Agra. Make your first stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the ghost town, 40km west of Agra. Continue your journey to Agra. Visit the Red Fort in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11

3h - 200km

At sunrise, visit the fabulous Taj Mahal then take the road to Delhi. Upon your arrival in the Indian capital, you will be directly transferred to Delhi International Airport. End of our services.
