Day 1

Depart from Delhi for Jodhpur. Dinner & overnight on Board.
Day 2

Breakfast will be served on board, and the train will arrive in Jodhpur. In Jodhpur, you will visit the imposing and sprawling fort perched on a hillock. The fort houses several palaces added by many rulers and kings. After lunch at a hotel, the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels departs for Udaipur. You will have dinner on board en route to Udaipur.
Day 3

Upon arrival in Udaipur have breakfast at a hotel. On your sightseeing tour of Udaipur, you will first stop at the City Palace. You will be awe struck by the mirrored rooms, doors made of ivory, embellished marble balconies and the Peacock courtyard. After lunch at a hotel, you will get to relax on a boat ride on the Lake Pichola. After returning to the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, you will later visit Chittaurgarh. Enjoy a sound & light show during evening tea at the Chittaurgarh Fort. Dinner at a hotel and overnight on board the luxury train.
Day 4

Once you arrive at Sawai Madhopur you will visit the Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary, which expands over almost 400 sq kms of thick foliage. The historical Ranthambore Fort sits regally amidst the valley, hills, tigers and leopards, for which this national park is well known. You will have breakfast at a hotel and then climb aboard your luxury train headed towards Jaipur. In Jaipur, you will visit several historical monuments such as the formidable but magnificent Amber Fort, the unique Jantar Mantar, the City Palace, its museum and the Palace of Winds. After freshening up aboard your luxury train, you will get to enjoy a night drive on the beautiful roads of Jaipur, followed by dinner at a Palace Hotel. The train departs for Khajuraho.
Day 5

The temples of Khajuraho, established by the Kings of the Chandela dynasty, have been deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After arrival in Khajuraho, you will visit the Eastern group of temples which consists of six temples, Jain and Hindu in close proximity to each other which signifies the religious tolerance of the erstwhile rulers. After having lunch, you will then proceed towards discovering the western group of the temples. These temples are well known for their erotic sculptures and elaborate stone work, representing India’s finest artistic talent. Overnight on board.
Day 6

Once you arrive in Varanasi, also known as Benaras, in the early hours of the morning, you will board a nice boat and sail through the gentle waters of the sacred River Ganges. You will witness the ceremonial prayers on the ghats (bank) of the revered river, which is the lifeline of Northern India. After breakfast at a hotel, you will stroll across the Ganges and visit many Hindu temples. You will also amble through the bustling market streets, where you will be solicited by the screaming vendors! You can sample some of the world famous Benaras silk. You will have your lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit Sarnath which is 5 miles away from Varanasi. Sarnath is a pilgrimage site for Buddhists, as this town is believed to be where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon in 590 B.C. The town houses an Archaeological Museum, which exhibits a superb repertoire of Buddhist art and sculptures. The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels departs for Agra at night, where you will have dinner and spend your night.
Day 7

You will arrive in Agra and enjoy your breakfast on board. In this city, you will visit the monument that attracts thousands of tourists every year. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, an architectural feat, an iconic symbol of India, romance and eternal love – the Taj Mahal. Enjoy a sound & light show and have dinner at a hotel. Spend the night on board your luxury train, on its way to New Delhi.
Day 8

Arrive in Delhi. Disembark after having breakfast on board. End of our services.
