Day 1

First exploration

Welcome to Kerala! You directly go to Thattekad, best known for the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and a picturesque destination blessed with natural wonders. After a briefing session, get accustomed with your bike through the sanctuary, home of many species of birds.

Day 2

Along Periyar River

After breakfast get ready for a beautiful day of cycling through the countryside, crossing small villages and hamlets. As you pedal along the flow of the Periyar River, you find your way traversing rubber, coconut and pineapple plantations and reach Thekkady.

Day 3

Wildlife of Periyar National Park

Explore Periyar National Park by bike but also hiking. Through the nature trail, you admire birds,butterflies and other wildlife. After walking around the Periyar Lake with a tribal guide, through the moist deciduous forest and grass lands, you cycle around the hilly town of Thekkady.

Day 4

In the spice fields

Another beautiful day of cycling, filled with rides along plush landscape and aromatic hills. From the Cardamom Hills of Thekkady, you pedal your way through the rubber plantations and tea gardens. After a drive to Kumarakom, an unhurried backwater village, it's time to relax.

Day 5

Along the backwaters

Get ready for the famous "backwaters" of Kerala. Along the countryside roads through small hamlets and villages, you ride past the paddy fields and coconut plantations, interspersed by narrow backwater channels. You meet people going for their daily works and learn about the daily activities of local people. Reaching Alleppey, free time to enjoy the backwaters.

Day 6

Kochi, Queen of Arabian Sea

You take the direction to Kochi through the countryside roads, along the banks of the backwaters. Later you board the accompanying vehicle and drive to Kochi, one of the finest natural harbor influenced by historical trading partners. In the afternoon, you explore the local spice market on your own.

Day 7

Exploring Kochi

Final day to explore Kochi and visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue – the oldest synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations and St. Francis Church – one of the oldest churches in India built by Europeans. Later, transfer to Kochi airport for your flight.
