From 2005 $ per person
1875 $ per person
The Indian part of the Tibetan Changtang located in south-east Ladakh, recently opened and welcomes a few groups of trekkers every summer. The landscapes are infinitely beautiful and bright, the spaces are wide and the wildlife is intense. The Changing nomads will make you appreciate their dry meat and their salted butter tea!
Physically demanding due to the high altitude, our itinerary will lead you from the lunar shore of the Tso Kar lake to the fantastic Karzok village situated by the Tso Moriri lakeside. We will visit an important monastery housing a reincarnated child monk called « Rimpoche ».
