Day 1: Arrival at the airport in Denpasar - Sanur [ 30 mins drive - 15 km]
Reception at the airport . Let your holidays begin! Check into the hotel before you walk around in this beautiful resort and visit the famous Le Mayeur Museum, housed within the walls of the residence of the painter. Overnight at hotel .
Day 2: Sanur - Sidemen and around [ 3H road - 55 km]
In the morning , drive to the center of the island. Walk along the east coast to Semarapura (better known by the name of Klungkung ). In the surroundings of this former royal capital, discover the ruins of the temple of Gelgel. Walk into the village of the painters of Kamasan. The route continues to the north and the region of terraced rice fields, where they also grow peppers, cloves and corn. You will see Mount Agung on the horizon, the sacred mountain for the Balinese. Walk in the rice paddies and villages. Overnight at hotel .
Day 3: Sidemen Amed via Tenganan - Pasir Putih - Tirtagangga [ 2H road - 45 km]
In the morning, take the road to the East Coast. Near Candidasa, step into the Tenganan village where people still live in a community sharing system. The site has become quite touristy but is still worth seeing. You can have lunch on the beach of Pasir Putih, before continuing your journey. Visit the royal baths or Tirtagangga Water Palace. Continue your journey in the middle of rice fields and hills to Amed. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Amed
Day of rest in Amed. This is a vacation day for your driver. Take the opportunity to discover this part of the island which is less touristy and more authentic. The bay here is famous for its sea and it is possible to indulge in some snorkeling or diving. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Amed - Lovina [ 2:30 drive - 100Km ]
You will head to the north, more arid than the rest of the island region. Your driver will take you to Lovina via Tulamben, a small and charming coastal town and a paradise for divers!! You will go through many small villages and then you will stop in Kubutambahan to observe the reliefs of the temple of Meduwe Karang known for the amazing architectural style of the temple of Beji . Arrive in Lovina, to enjoy the sunset on the beautiful black sand beach. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Lovina - Pemuteran [ 1:30 drive - 70 km ]
Early morning boat trip to watch dolphins in the bay (optional). Back to the hotel for breakfast and then discover the hot springs of Bandjar. You can enjoy a relaxing time in the basins where the water is around 32 ° C. Visit the Buddhist monastery of Brahma Vihara Arama, the only Buddhist monument on the island. Arrive in Pemuteran. In the afternoon relax in your hotel or at the beach.
Day 7: Pemuteran
This day is an opportunity for a sea trip to the protected island of Menjangan, benefiting from the seabed and coral reefs. In the afternoon, return to the island of Bali and hike in the park of Bali Barat. Back to Pemuteran and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Pemuteran - Jatiluwih [ 2:30 drive - 60 Km]
Leave the coast to venture into the interiors and immerse yourself in the rural part of Bali. Arrive at the village of Munduk , which means " between the plains and the mountains ." Explore the Lake Buyan and visit the temple of Gubug Tamblingan before taking the small road to Jatiluwih which offers stunning views of the rice fields. A UNESCO World Heritage. Overnight at hotel .
Day 9: Jatiluwih
Today your driver will have a day off. Relax or take this opportunity to visit the fabulous temple of Batukaru. You can go for a walk in the rice fields on foot, bicycle or motorbike. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Jatiluwih - Ubud [ 3H road - 60 km]
If the weather is good, wake up early this morning to head back to Jatiluwih rice . Early mornings offer the best views - when the sun rises slowly and the mist is so light that you can see the valley through the clouds. Continue your journey to Ubud. Free afternoon and overnight at the hotel.
Ubud offers many activities and tours available in the surrounding area. We suggest a walk in the Sacred Monkey forest, a visit to Gunung Kawi Temple in Sebatu and rice fields of Tegalalang . The climate of Ubud is very pleasant and it can get cool in the evening. Cultural and artistic richness make it a special place to enjoy various activities: visiting museums , crafts , dance, music , cuisine, but you can also participate in sports activities such as rafting , mountain biking , tree climbing, etc.
Day 11: Ubud - Excursion to Besakih
Get set for a trip not far from Ubud, in a small crafts village. Interact with some artisans and discover their workshops. Visit the holiest site of the island, the Besakih Temple, which comprises nearly 22 temples. Despite the influx of tourists, the site has not lost its glory. Back to Ubud and overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Ubud - Jimbaran [ 2H road - 55 km]
In the early morning, step in to the small village of Sukawati to visit the market. This market is very popular with the Balinese who come to hunt for all kinds of textiles, basketry, paintings, fruits , vegetables and other things, in a warm atmosphere . You can also visit the park of Taman Burung to observe birds of all kinds and the famous Komodo dragon! Take the road to the sea to the famous Tanah Lot temple, perched upon a black cliff.
Arrive at Jimbaran, and enjoy its beautiful sandy beach and calm waters. Lovers of fish and seafood can sit at a table right on the water and enjoy the succulent dishes! Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13: Jimbaran - Denpasar Airport
Discover the Bukit peninsula. Start with a visit to the Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple. The site is perched on a cliff, surrounded by lush forests and the turquoise sea below. Be careful of the monkeys as they tend to rob passers by. Stop by the beach of Balangan to sip on a coconut or have lunch. Transfer to the international airport according to your flight schedule.
