  • Rajasthan is as much known for its cultural heritage as for its natural resources. From Udaipur, leave with the horses for a horse riding safari and be fascinated by the amazing landscapes and people of the countryside: the dry desert, paved lanes, mud house, women wearing colourful clothes going to wells, red chillis drying in the sun, local festivals and turbaned musicians...

Charming palaces, fortresses, “havelis”, and its proud Rajput owners, Rajasthan is a mosaic of old world charm. It’s also one of the most famous regions for horse riding : famous for the traditional “marwaris” horses which are well trained, light, docile and easy to ride. The sandy tracks for riding allow good speed.

With an itinerary that allows to visit out of track sites, we often camp next to traditional villages or in the middle of the nature. From the world of the hills to the irrigated fields, to the Thar desert, we travel through a region with thousand years traditions which is the occasion of a real immersion with the local people. Ride 35 to 45 Km per day. The saddles used are English, and is suitable for the best horse riders.

Riding a horse to visit Rajasthan offers a different perspective than a more traditional trip. Dinesh and his Marwaris horses, traditional in Rajsthan, will help you to discover the beautiful countryside of the Aravellis Mounts in a unique way.
