After the capital Amman, you explore the Dana Nature Reserve on a beautiful hike at the heart of a varied and protected ecosystem, then wander through legendary Petra along its side trails, before marvelling as you walk through the spectacular Wadi Mujib canyon region.

'Mahaba', hello and welcome to Jordan! You are met at the airport by your driver, who takes you to your hotel in the Jordanian capital, Amman. You then use your free time to begin your immersion, exploring this city of white streets, ancient history and increasingly assertive modernity. Night at the hotel.

'Mahaba', hello and welcome to Jordan! You are met at the airport by your driver, who takes you to your hotel in the Jordanian capital, Amman. In the morning, you set off towards the Dana Reserve. Along the way, you stop at the imposing Kerak Castle, a former Crusader watchtower sent by the Franks. You continue by car and finally arrive in the Dana valley, where you take a short first walk to warm up before the long trek the following day. Night at a guesthouse.

After 6 to 7 hours of walking, you meet your driver for a short drive towards Petra. Night at a hotel at the gates of Petra.

This day is devoted to the legendary and magnificent city of Petra, a testament to the creative genius of the Nabataeans who occupied the city at its peak. You don't discover it via the usual route, but rather arriving from Little Petra. After 3 hours of walking, you catch sight of the city's famous monastery, the 'Deir', before descending into the centre of Petra, where the Khazneh stands, the Nabataean tomb that has become the city's symbol.

You walk through the heart of the canyon, clad entirely in orange sandstone, along the watercourse and sometimes with your feet in the water, before reaching your camp for the night.

Petra - Wadi Mujib

After breakfast, you head towards Wadi Mujib, a true Jordanian natural gem. This great canyon is crossed throughout by a river, and its surroundings are perfect for hiking. You walk through the heart of the canyon, clad entirely in orange sandstone, along the watercourse and sometimes with your feet in the water, before reaching your camp for the night.

This morning you set off on a short hike around Wadi Mujib, enjoying the spectacle of the sun reflecting off the ochre colours of the valley's rocks. Your driver then takes you to Jerash, an immense Greco-Roman site with the best-preserved ruins in the Middle East. At the end of the day, you arrive in Ajloun, a town perched on a hill, to spend the night.
