This morning you have breakfast at the hotel before setting off for a day of visits around the capital. Your first stop is Yehliu Geopark. This is where famous and curious rock formations shaped by the wind can be found. The shapes are diverse and varied, some called the 'fairy's shoe', 'mushroom rocks', 'elephant rocks' or the famous 'queen's head'. Next, head to Jiufen, a picturesque and enchanting small town perched on a mountainside. Visit its gold museum and wander its little streets winding between shops lined with red lanterns. Finally, visit Pingxi, made famous by its lantern festival. Pick up a lantern made of rice paper, write your message and let it float majestically into the sky. Return to Taipei at the end of the day and night at the hotel.

Today you savour breakfast as a family at the hotel before leaving Taipei for your new destination, Taroko National Park. To reach this magnificent geological site, you pass by the impressive and dizzying Qingshui Cliffs located on the island's east coast. Taroko is an extraordinary place known for its remarkable marble gorges, tunnels, cliffs and waterfalls. Here, with your guide, you discover natural and architectural marvels with enchanting names, such as the 'Swallow Grotto', the 'Eternal Spring Shrine' and the 'Bridge of Maternal Devotion'. At the end of the day, check in to your hotel and spend the night.

This morning, enjoy a good breakfast before setting off for a day of hiking in Taroko National Park. This park was established in 1986 over several hundred square kilometres and is home to numerous mountains rising above 3,000m. Your guide takes you on a panoramic walk at the heart of these impressive green mountains. You can choose between the Shakadang Trail or the Lushui Trail. The first, one of the most famous trails, follows the crystalline Shakadang River for a few kilometres and offers an impressive natural spectacle. The second is a narrow, shaded path taking you through tunnels and a suspension bridge to discover the beautiful local flora and fauna. Night at the hotel.

Today you have breakfast at the hotel and spend another day in the superb Taroko National Park. Former ancestral lands of the Truku tribe, Taroko means 'magnificent', and this is now obvious to you. Continue discovering its waterfalls, tunnels, suspension bridges and turquoise rivers that make this an extraordinary place. Take hiking trails that lead you along its impressive canyons and marble gorges. You spend this day at a relaxed pace at the heart of this spectacular natural environment. Night at the hotel.

This morning, have breakfast before being driven to your next destination, Hualien. This charming small town, nestled between sea and mountain, is the natural gateway to the sumptuous marble gorges of Taroko National Park. Your guide takes you on a tour of the town. Throughout the day you notice that Taroko canyon marble is everywhere: on the facades of temples, buildings, shops and hotels. Artisans also take advantage of these marble deposits for their creations. This is the ideal place to find souvenirs for loved ones. Animal figurines, board games and decorative objects are sold on every street corner. Night at the hotel.

Today, enjoy your breakfast before setting off to explore the town and its surroundings. Hualien has numerous buildings, temples and museums worth the detour. Visit the Martyrs' Shrine, this monument paying tribute to those who died during the civil war after the Second World War, and admire its impressive facade. Discover the Henan Buddhist Temple with its view over the Pacific Ocean, home to a large golden Buddha. Stroll through the Pine Garden, a former Japanese military installation surrounded by centuries-old trees, a magnificent spot for a pleasant family moment. Also visit the peaceful Liyu Lake, which you can also explore by boat if you wish. Night at the hotel.
