Day 1

Welcome to Yangon! Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Your journey through Myanmar begins with an afternoon tour through the historic quarters of Yangon. Finish the day with a visit to one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments, the golden Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2

City tour & Dala Village visit
Start your morning with an excursion around the colonial-style city centre via the circular circuit of Yangon. In the afternoon, hop on a ferry to visit Dala village, located on the southern banks of Yangon River. In the morning, depart by car to Bago, a sacred city which houses a large number of pagodas and Buddha statues. In the afternoon, you will go to the foot of the Golden Rock, a fabulous rock nugget perched precariously on the edge of a cliff and venerated by Buddhists. On the top of the boulder is a small shrine believed to contain relics of the Buddha's hair - the source of the rock's gravity-defying magic! Overnight at hotel.
Day 4

4h drive - 136 km
At dawn, you will attend a traditional religious ceremony at the Golden Rock before taking the road to Mawlamyine (Moulmein), the first capital of the former British-held Burma. Day 5

Ogre Island and Mon culture
In the morning, visit the market of Mawlamyine and observe the daily scene of vendors selling local produce before taking the ferry to Ogre Island, also known as Bilu Island. Ogre Island is roughly the size of Singapore and is home to more than 200,000 people who take part in the production of various household items and handicrafts. Here, you can learn more about the well-preserved and distinctive Mon culture. Head back to visit the highest structure in Mawlamyine: Kayikthanlan Pagoda at sunset. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6

3 hours navigation by boat
In the morning, go for a scenic boat cruise along the Thanlwin River to Hpa An, the capital of Kayin (Karen) State. In the afternoon, visit the Karen village of Lakkhana and discover their traditional way of life. You will follow the path of a hundred Buddhas and walk along a giant natural pool. Return to Hpa An and overnight at the hotel.

Continue to the hotel and spend your afternoon relaxing at the beach. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10

Rest and relaxation
Opportunities for relaxation and water activities are numerous on the wild beaches and translucent waters of Ngwe Saung.
