Palawan Tropical Escape

Welcome to the Philippines! You are greeted at Manila International Airport by your driver, who brings you to your hotel in the city centre. Depending on your arrival time, your Philippines Travel Expert will be waiting to welcome you to the capital. The program for this day remains free to give you time to explore Intramuros, the old town and a legacy of the Spanish colonial era, at your own pace. Take your time strolling around and admiring the magnificent buildings with emblematic architecture of the time. Why not stop to visit the great Cathedral of Manila as well as the numerous churches in the area? Return to your hotel in the evening to get ready for the start of your Palawan tour package!

Today, your driver takes you to Manila Airport where you catch a domestic flight to Puerto Princesa on Palawan Island. From here you continue on your Palawan tour package directly to Atremaru, next to the village of Sabang, located on the west coast of the island. If you are thirsty for your first taste of adventure, why not go exploring in the lush forest in the heart of the island? At the end of the day, return to the hotel to enjoy a fresh cocktail with your feet buried in the fine sand before going to bed.

In the morning, you leave for an excursion to the fantastic Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site contains impressive natural arches in an almost unreal atmosphere. You discover them aboard a kayak with a local English-speaking guide. Going through this impressive cave on your kayak is a surreal experience, like sailing under a mountain and will definitely be a highlight of your Palawan tour package. Along the way, keep an eye out for the monkeys hanging around by the riverside. Return to the hotel for lunch and a free afternoon in Atremaru.

Today, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting out for a day trip by boat to explore the beautiful Ulugan Bay. Keep your eyes open and you may be lucky enough to spot the island's superb resident sea eagle. For lunch, your guide will prepare a delicious picnic on a beautiful sandy beach, a very intimate setting. Put on your snorkeling mask and take advantage of this outing to discover the effervescent underwater life of the archipelago.

After breakfast at the hotel, your driver will take you to Taytay, in the north of Palawan Island. The five-hour drive brings you through magnificent landscapes and crosses many rural villages typical of the Philippines. On the way, you stop to visit an old Spanish fortress that offers breathtaking views of the bay. You then embark on a private boat towards the island paradise that is Flower Island. Take advantage of this first dinner in your hotel to discover new flavors typical of the Philippines.

Enjoy a free day at Flower Island. Discover the beautiful beaches of the island and try the different activities available (boat/kayak ride, walk around the island, petanque, badminton, volleyball...) or even visit the pearl farm located near the hotel. Enjoy this moment in a postcard-worthy landscape, between coconut palms and the blissful blue sea. Don’t forget to catch the sunset with a cocktail in the evening!

After breakfast, take a one-hour boat ride to the mainland. From here, your driver will be waiting with a private vehicle to bring you to El Nido (2h drive). Your hotel is located in the beautiful El Nido Bay. You settle in this dream hotel and enjoy the picture-perfect surroundings – now you understand why this place is nicknamed “Heaven on Earth”. Enjoy a free day of relaxation in your hotel. You can enjoy the hotel's facilities, choose a diving session, a kayak ride or simply sunbathe and catch up on some reading on the beach. From your hotel, the view of the karst cliffs plunging into the turquoise water is simply amazing. You can also go to some beautiful places such as "Snake Island" and see its huge sandbar or visit the "Cathedral Cave". In the evening, why not sip a cocktail in the sand and watch the beautiful sunset?

Today is another free day for you to spend at your leisure. This allows you to adapt your program to your desires of the day. Let yourself be tempted by a boat trip through the magnificent Bacuit archipelago to see its islands with remarkably steep karst cliffs. You can then discover the beauty of the landscapes, where the green of the islets skillfully mix with the blue of the sea. Or perhaps tempt yourself with a scuba diving excursion? The surrounding sea conceals fantastic sites such as the underwater cave or the “Dilumacad Tunnel”.

Enjoy your last breakfast of this trip to the Philippines before leaving by private car for El Nido Airport, where you catch a domestic flight to Manila. Your head is filled with sunny memories as you are taken to Manila International Airport for your flight home. Our services end here.
