You will be greeted upon your arrival at Singapore airport and taken to your hotel in the heart of the Kampong Glam district. Your first day is free: rest at your hotel or explore the "Garden City", as Singapore is sometimes known, by strolling through one of its many cultural neighbourhoods, or by discovering its symbols like the legendary Merlion, which you can climb to have a breath-taking view of the city. You will then return to spend the night at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, you head to the bustling Geylang Market in the heart of the Malaysian community for a culinary immersion. Singapore's cultural diversity is best experienced through its local cuisines, including Chinese, Malay, Indian and Peranakan cuisines, a melting pot of flavours and foods. From stands to stalls, you will taste various traditional Singaporean dishes such as Roti Prata and Thosai accompanied by Teh Tarik. Night at the hotel.
Today, part of your day is dedicated to a tour through the city. You begin your route through the cultural district, passing through the Historical Parliament and the National Art Gallery, then you continue to the mouth of the Singapore River to the iconic Merlion, before visiting the oldest Hindu temple of the city in Chinatown. Your discovery of Singapore continues with a stop at the famous Singapore Botanical Garden, the "green lung" of the city, and ends in Little India, where you attend a demonstration of the making of Teh Tarik, before returning to your hotel.
This morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel before heading to the fabulous Gardens by the Bay, Singapore's iconic gardens. You will be charmed by the Flower Dome and the unique species it contains, as well as the indoor waterfall and lush vegetation of the Cloud Forest. Do not miss out on the Tree Top Walk, from where you can admire the canopy from above. Lunch and the rest of your day are free: why not take the opportunity to do some shopping on the famous Orchard Road?
Visiting the Singapore Zoo in the morning before your return is the best way to end your trip to Singapore! Wildlife Reserves, which manages the zoo, is an NGO that works to conserve species such as orang-utans. You can also observe some 300 other species of mammals, birds and reptiles. Check-out of your hotel is scheduled at noon, and according to the schedule of your return flight, your will be transferred to the airport.
