This heavenly trip to Lhasa is primarily focused on monasteries and the natural environment of Central Tibet. A magical vast landscape, in Tibet you will find an incredible wealth of monuments.
In a radius of 200 km around Lhasa, we will travel to the province of Ü-Tsang, the cultural cradle of Tibet, and visit many sites. Among the most important are the monasteries of Ganden, Drigung, Terdrum and Tsurphu and Lake Nam Tso.
Surrounded by snow-capped peaks rising to over 7,000 m in altitude, Lake Nam Tso is the second largest lake in Tibet and one of the most unique places in the Roof of the World.
Water is a shining turquoise blue and the surrounding scenery is magnificent. On the shores of the Lake lost to infinity, herds of yaks and sheep dabble around the tents of the Drogpas (nomads), while the lake has a large number of migratory birds, including geese and wild ducks.
