Diving is what I look forward to most, especially out around the atolls where the reefs are still full of life. Malé is where every trip usually starts for me, brief but useful, a good way to get a feel for local life before heading out to the islands. Baa Atoll is where I'd send anyone hoping to swim with manta rays, and Addu Atoll, further south, is my pick when I want fewer crowds and a slower pace.

Ayubowan!
I'm Sam, and hail from the atolls of the Maldives. The ocean views and sunsets of this region will no doubt, leave you in awe! The Maldives is a tapestry of wonders, from the quiet lagoons of Baa Atoll to the golden beaches of Addu Atoll, each corner offering something unique and memorable. Every island has a story from local history and diverse cultures to village life and religious traditions. So if you're planning to visit the Maldives, just send me a message so we can plan a trip together that will be both unique and unforgettable!
When I'm not showing guests around, you'll usually find me out on the reef near Baa Atoll, or working out which local island makes the best base for a few quiet days away from the resorts. I like building itineraries that mix a proper resort stay with time on a local island, so you get both the comfort and a real sense of how people actually live out here.
The Maldives is small in land area, but the atolls spread out over a huge stretch of ocean, so getting the logistics right, which islands to combine and how to get between them, makes a real difference to how relaxed the trip feels.
