Nationals of many countries, including France, are eligible for a free visa on arrival, valid for a 30-day renewable tourist stay. The best time to visit Qatar is from November to April, when temperatures are mild and pleasant, perfect for discovering Doha, exploring the desert or enjoying the coast. Avoid the summer (May to September), when temperatures can exceed 45°C.
