Shanti Travel is a travel agency unlike any other. In fact, our teams are based in both Asia and France. In Asia, we have six local agencies with over 80 travel experts who are passionate about and love the destinations where they live. Thanks to this local expertise, we can offer you the best advice, share our top recommendations, and ensure you have the most wonderful experiences possible. Having our own teams in Asia has been part of Shanti Travel’s DNA since 2005, when the agency was founded. And since 2018, we have also been based in France. We have a small team that can therefore respond more easily to your calls, meet with you, and act as the link between you and Asia. Being based in France also offers you peace of mind, as we are registered as a French tour operator. Payment arrangements are therefore straightforward, and you can book with peace of mind. Shanti Travel thus combines the advantages of a local agency with those of a French tour operator.
We offer two types of holiday: bespoke holidays and holidays where you join a small group. For bespoke holidays, we tailor the trip to your preferences to create a holiday that suits you perfectly. The holidays you see on our website are simply suggestions and ideas to inspire you. You can keep them as they are, or adapt, tweak and modify them as you see fit. Our travel experts are on hand to help you build your bespoke trip. This type of trip is available to everyone, whether you’re travelling alone, as a couple, with family or with friends. And as it’s your trip, it’s private, just for you. As for small-group trips, these allow you to join other travellers to form a small group. These small groups consist of between 2 and 12 participants maximum. Unlike tailor-made trips, small group trips can hardly be modified. Departure dates, duration, itinerary, accommodation... are all already set. You can find all our small group trips on our website. The easiest way is to click on ‘Inspiration’ at the top of the page in our menu, then click on the ‘Join a small group’ category. They will then all be displayed. They can also be identified by the text “join a small group” which appears on the trip’s thumbnail. To take part in one of these trips, simply sign up by contacting us by email or phone.
